The examination will be in English and includes both theoretical and practical sections. Examination duration: 7 hours and 20 minutes.
Application for Certification The completed application form must be sent to copc@exertcertification.com. Evaluation of your qualifications and experience will be carried out by Exert Certification. Candidates who meet the requirements for certification and pass the examination will receive the IECEx Certificate of Personnel Competence. Regular re-certification ensures that the certified person maintains the required level of competence.
Fee for certification: NOK 6 000 per participant. When you have passed the examination, an additional certification fee of NOK 3 950 must be paid to IECEx for the initial issue of a certificate. An update of an existing certificate to include new modules costs NOK 1 950. We reserve the right to adjust these fees in line with IECEx.

Målsetning
To take the exam to become certified in Ex 009 Design of electrical installations.
Målgruppe
Electrical engineers, automation engineers and other personnel involved in the planning and design of electrical installations in hazardous areas.
Participants must already have IECEx certification in unit Ex 001 Basic protection principles for Ex protection. In addition, participants must be qualified electrical professionals with at least 3 years relevant practical experience in designing electrical installations.
